Watch your mouth!
Ariel Winter — best known for her role as Alex Dunphy on "Modern Family" — took on a new role this week as a few of pop culture's favorite mean girls.
In a feature story for Cosmopolitan, Winter, 18, portrayed Regina George from "Mean Girls," Nancy Downs from "The Craft," Blair Waldorf from "Gossip Girl," Amber from "Clueless" and Heather from, you guessed it, "Heathers."
Winter told Cosmo that she has no time for mean girls, which is evident as the actress has often shot back at Internet bullies and trolls.
"Women will get called a b---h — and any other name — for speaking out about anything," she said.
Ariel Winter portrayed Regina George from "Mean Girls” in a recent photo spread with Cosmopolitan.
"It's a stigma for women, really: If we have an opinion, we're automatically labeled a b---h."
The "Modern Family" star recited some of the characters' most famous lines and said she realized how the girls' didn't care for others' feelings.
As an anti-bullying advocate, Winter said it was "alarming" that those characters are idolized by people.
She added that the word b---h definitely has negative connotations, but the term "bad b---h" is something she doesn't find offensive.
She told Cosmo, “To me, being a bad b---h means being a go-getter. I'm getting what I want, I don't take s--t from anybody.”
Ultimately, it comes down to spreading positivity - not hate, according to Winter.
"What's "cool" nowadays is being mean to others, cutting people down, not building each other up,” she said. "But you just remember that people need to stand up for what's right."
