Donald Trump ignited a firestorm of criticism Saturday when he called Hillary Clinton the “most corrupt candidate” in history — and put her face next to a Star of David over a pile of money.
The GOP presumptive presidential nominee tweeted out the image early Saturday — and linked to a Fox News poll on June 29 that said 58% of respondents felt Clinton was corrupt.
When angry responses rolled in, Trump’s campaign released an updated image about two hours later that replaced the Star of David with a red circle.
But the Twittersphere wasn’t about to let the gaffe go.
