Former "Dancing with the Stars" pro Cheryl Burke says her Season 4 partnership with actor Ian Ziering was maddeningly out of step.
The 31-year-old dancer recently told the hosts of the popular "Allegedly" podcast that working with the "Sharknado" star in 2007 "made me want to slit my wrists."
She didn't go into much detail about what specifically made Ziering her "least favorite" partner in her 18 seasons on the show — but it seems she wasn't a fan of his intensity.
"Think of spending time with that for like 8-10 hours a day, seven days a week, for three months," she tells hosts Matt Weiss and Theo Von in the segment, which was posted by TMZ in advance of the podcast's Tuesday release.
Things apparently got so intense between them, Burke even begged the show's producers at one point to kick them off the show.
"I was like crying to the executives, 'Is there any way to force us, to just like eliminate us?'" she said on the podcast.
The execs declined, and Burke and Ziering, 52, ended up lasting all the way until the semi-finals.
During the podcast, Burke admitted she was even bothered by the way Ziering's name is pronounced.
"The fact that his name's not 'Eee-an' and it's 'Eye-an' makes me want to throw up," she said.
Burke, who left the show in 2014, rose to fame after winning "Dancing With the Stars" in each of her first two seasons on the show alongside partners Drew Lachey and Emmitt Smith.
She never won again but did record eight other Top-5 finishes — including placing in with Ziering.
Ziering, meanwhile, made a name for himself on "Beverly Hills, 90210" before landing the lead role of Fin Shepard in the fan-favorite "Sharknado" series.
