The GOP presidential wannabe has committed the biggest New York faux pas of them all — eating a slice with a fork and knife.
The Ohio governor gobbled his way into a colossal culinary controversy when he went for his utensils at Gino’s Pizzeria & Restaurant in Queens.
Kasich used a fork to take his first bite of a pepperoni slice.
But he quickly regained his senses and finished it off like a real New Yorker — holding the slice in his hands.
The scene was chillingly similar to Mayor de Blasio’s failed foray to Goodfella’s Pizzeria on Staten Island in January 2014.
Hizzoner raised eyebrows by digging into his slice with a fork and knife.
He later defended the move, saying that’s how it’s done in his ancestral homeland of Italy.
But maybe he meant Ohio?
